OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. There are now tickets issued, and there are no longer parking passes for PIR.

Please see changes to attending PIR in the PAGES column. The PAGES are located under the member icons on the right side.

I know we have a lot of moms attending, but for one reason or another they haven't responded that they are attending under the RSVP to the right of this page.

Please respond so I can keep track.

Thank you

Well, there is another little complication. My husband surprised me with a cruise to the Bahamas leaving on Nov. 4! So I need to be packing, etc. Sorry, the cruise wins!!!

Comment by Pat L. in IL on October 6, 2013 at 7:56pm

Oh Donna, I would LOVE to be there but it is just too far from Chicago!!

Hello Navy Moms,

The theme will be Christmas.  We'll be doing individual boxes for the crew.  The size of these boxes are small, DVD size.  We're going to need a lot of small items to fill them. Cards, small toys, small size puzzles (the size of reader digest) sudoku puzzles.   Can you come up with some other fun stuff?  I will bring to the packing party on Nov 2nd wrapping paper.  It's going to be a fun packing party!
