Been seeing where a lot of moms are posting that their recruits will be staying at Great Lakes after graduation for Pre-Bud training?

I think this is addtional training, not their A school (?) What is Pre-Bud? How long does that last? Who has to go thru Pre-Bud?

Thanks in advance, Learning something new everyday on this site!

It's the first training for your actual job after bootcamp. In the army they call it MOS
Pre-buds is where they find out if your son is Lucifer. You beautiful ladies should have pushed your sons towards accesorizing dolls instead of playing with GI Joe guys. What were you thinking?
WOW Way out of line !!
Umm .............. Holy Crap That was not nice at all.
I am so sorry that you guys had to see something like that.
GOD BLESS THE SEALS >>
We're all on the same team. I am soft spoken. (unless I'm mildly annoyed by terrorism.) I have a mother too you know. :)
Chris
I just didnt take to kindly to the Lucifer comment.
And yes Marine we are on the same team. :)
I have been to unfathomable depths. I pray that you come to trust me. Yes, God bless the Navy Seals!
Christopher (Christ Bearer)
I just stopped working to eat lunch and found myself at this site for a half hour. LOL. What timing! Molly , way to defend the home team.(Where or where were you yesterday??. Not to worry, Joyce Slabaugh took care of it.) Any way I talked to my Army son this weekend, and he talked about filling in sandbags. He told his friend "I don't think that GI Joe did this" . Funny it would come up again. Now forgive my positive spend on Pre Buds. I understood that because the Seal program was so difficult, this programs was added to help recruits training to be Seals be more prepared and and sucessful in the Seal training.
Nothing is difficult. :)
Chris
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger!
Being rude should be :)

Ok Chris lets not get off on a bad foot here,
Tell me about yourself. Are you active or reserve, retired
I have to trust you as well. You did not instantly recognize humor. I am a retired Corporal.
Chris
You sound like my sons. Nice to meet you. I have to go back to work now, so don't think it's personal. :).
