Hi My name is Holly. My husband and I have 4 teens, with our oldest in Boot Camp. It was very hard to let him go, but he loves it. I just found this site and what a nice retreat. I wish I would have known about it before he went in. He graduates on Mach 21st.
Hi Holly nice to hear from you. What is your oldest going to study after boot camp?
He is going into nuc subs.
Hey another one :) Make sure you look up Karen she has 3 that are doing Nukie stuff. And Donna just graduated one from the nuke A school. They can answer almost any questions or concerns and they listen real good too.
Good Morning! My name is Elaine and my oldest son Brian is graduating from Great Lakes on March 7th. I'm so excited to see him!!! I'm a single mom of 3 kids....Brian, his brother Brad (attending Bible College in Calif) and Aubrey, my youngest, my daugher, is a freshman in high school. I live in Missouri, way out in the country with cows and horses...lol. I'm not sure how driving in Chicago is going to go.....lol. Wish me luck....

Have a great day ladies and God bless us all!
I hear you Elaine, we live out in the boondocks of North Dakota and are driving in for his graduation. From what a lot of the "small town" Moms tell me about driving in the big city is to park yourself in a hotel close to base and stay there.. haha. My husband wants to see the sights even though Steve will be a grad and go right the begining of October. Yucky winter driving.
Congrats on your Son's graduation on the 7th!
Talk to you soon

Hi Fellow Navy Moms!
My husband and I have 4 wonderful children. Our youngest shipped out to GL on 2/11. According to RTC website he's due to graduate 4/4. I've heard that date can be delayed for one reason or another so it was recommended to hold off on booking hotel or airline until closer - in the event of a change. My husband is currently serving a tour of duty and we were hoping he'd be home for Aaron's graduation, but it doesn't look like that will happen. Aaron's wanted to do this since the 8th grade so we've had some warning. We are so proud of him. I appreciate this website...I've learned a few things from you fellow Navy Moms! Thanks :)
Hi Susan! Nice to meet you. How are you hanging in there with your youngest gone for a few weeks now? Thank your husband for his service from me. As a mom and wife surounded by the military I bet you have a few good hint and tips for us.
Talk to you soon
