HI,
Just read some comments. I joined this website this past Tuesday 3/4-found the link from the Great Lakes website. My son graduates 2 weeks from today. The first 2 weeks were more difficult then I could imagine. But though letters and Yes 2 phone calls, I have adjusted. He sounds soooooo good, he is confident, happy etc and of course caught the flu- From what I hear, they all get it but he was just like "Mom no worries" he said "Pain is weakness leaving the body"
Imagine that!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see him, I am gonna pinch him to make sure that it is actually him standing next to me!!!!!
HEy I got round trip ticket from ORlando FL to O'hare 179.00 from Orbitz, I wanted to leave Thursday but if I leave Wednesday Nite from ORlando I saved about $65 per ticket. Deals are out there shop shop and shop some more!!!!!
thanks for shop around tip.
Thanks for the info Barb, I will look into it
My name is Sherry. My son is graduating April 18th, He's in Ship 11 Div 151. I'm hoping to get a call soon, would be nice to hear his voice.
My son Cameron is graduating April 18th as well we received one letter and I would like to hear his voice as well.
Is anyone son or daughter in ship 09 div 153
My son is in div 153 ship 09
my daughter is in 153, ship 9. Do guys and gals see each other? march together? any one know?
They see each other, but CANT associate with them. They do eat all together and I do believe some other things are together as well. Not allowed to talk to them according to my son.
thanks for your reply. I just wondered if they were separated. I guess to some degree they are...and are not.!!
Hi Linda,
My son is in that exact division/ship! Hope you are hearing from your child. They did allow them phone time today.. I got a 20 minute call and THAT made my whole day complete! I hear that that division has a hard time being quiet, according to my son and they are always being scolded for it. If anyone hears of other things from their own kids, let's hear it. Sadly mine stays to himself pretty much because he doesnt want them ALL to get in trouble for talking and getting out of hand and being told to shhh, as he puts it.. I was hoping he'd open up more and make some friends
