OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

when you need help getting up from the chair; and you think your friends should know what you are talking about when you talk about N4M. Or it light outside when you started and bed time when you finshed. Most of all when you want to take the computer to bed with you cause you might miss something.

hee, hee Debra, I did the light to dark thing a couple times this summer!! O.k, here's mine: You know you're addicted when... you come home from a family bike ride and think, to yourself "I'll just quick go check in on my N4M's page while the kids put the bikes away." Then, over an hour later, your hubby comes looking for you and finds you standing at the 'puter, still with your bike helmet on your head, chin straps hanging down!! :-) He just stopped dead in his tracks and burst out laughing! He can't say anything, he found this site for me! LOL =)
