BYOB too?!!

So I've been in and out all day and I suspect we will hit a 1000 anytime now but I'm number 325 ...who knew this site was so new when I found it! What a lifesaver it has been. Ohhhhhhhh my age ...that is 28 :-)
Maybe we should make a birthday cake for Catherine today-she really does work hard for us and then everyone can sign in on her card.

Her bosses will love it!
If we give her a party, then she will try harder to get us a large parking lot for our CAFE
Cannot wait but do they have ANY fun in the A school forum? Here we laugh, we cry, we cuss and we make a fabulous Fuzzy Naval!
It seems like many go away after BC :(
When your in A school you get to talk to your child whenever you want so it is not as tramatic as BC.
A school seems to be about learning, vs emotions.
I am telling you .......you are gonna miss BC life ! :)
I sure miss it. Now I wonder ( but don't tell anyone) Do they MAKE the recruits write home??? I was surprise to get any letters from my son, then I got spoiled. I wanted to believe that he really, really missed me. But A school is busy, but he really hasn't started yet.
No way ? They MAKE them write home ?
It wouldnt surprise me. They need family to hear from them or elese there phones line would be jammed w/ moms calling " is my son ok"
I only ask because my son writing seems like a miracle. Maybe they only get free time if they write home so families don't make all of those phone calls.
But you and I will have sons in the same AE/CF school, so get use to me :)
My family and friends would expect nothing less from me Molly! Plus our card list includes many fabulous Navy families from our years as active duty. BUT...they are all TWIDGETTS!
Dear Friends,
Please indulge me today. Although I have not received a letter from my son this week - the rest of my family has (they live closer to GL) and our division has now won 3 out of 4 flags!!! They were scheduled to do the confidence chamber today AND next Thursday...Battle Stations!!! I am so hyper - just knowing they have their date scheduled for BS makes me want to order that NAVY for MOMs sweatshirt from Catherine!!! Oh wait...she hasn't gotten them printed yet!!! I must go write my son and tell him he simply cannot graduate yet...momma needs a new sweatshirt and Catherine is just too busy keeping us ...good!
Your time is starting to get close girly girl :)
Where are you staying at GL ?
Ohh ya and I forgot you have that pre-PIR dinner :)
