For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

The April adoption is the USS Truxtun currently deployed in the Black Sea as part of the George H. W. Bush Carrier Strike Group. The USS Truxtun is named for one of the founders of the United States Navy, Commodore Thomas Truxtun. Their motto is "Pursue Attack Vanquish."
Crew - 200 males and 90 females
Pillowcases will not be allowed.
Requests: Powdered drink mixes, sunflower seeds, beef jerky, protein bars, granola bars, cookies, trail mix, microwave foods, soap, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, and toothbrushes.
Let's try to put some color in our boxes........anything from lining the boxes with colorful paper to silly things from the Dollar Store.
Shipping will be from April 21 to 24.
This is a large group so come on Mommies, let's send them a whole bunch of love from Home!

CQEOC, I vacuum seal all my 'liquids' or just tape the lids closed and put them in ziplock bags. I just make sure if they do make a mess that it's enclosed. Yes on the body wash!
Hi Moms, Sorry to have been MIA for a couple of days. SICK!! Better now but need a nap soon! LOL!! So far we have received some generous donations from Elmhurst College, the Villa Park VFW, and St. Francis de Sales church. This is a pretty big group so let's show them some LOVE!

Sent my box out today. My son Thomas is home on Easter break, so he mixed up double chocolate chip and peanut butter kiss cookies for me to bake last night.

I sent 3 boxes today. Micro meals, protein bars, gum, nuts, sunflower seeds, Slim Jims, drink packets and a few toys. I lined the boxes with colorful paper and I hope it brings color to the Black Sea!

I sent 2 boxes Wednesday, 1 of snacks the other with yo-yos, personal hygiene and some puzzle books.
