Hope this is ok to post...ship 12/division224 BS is July 5 and 6.....as far as my son said...
Thanks, Willsmom.  I will add it up top!

Do you know about DIV 934 yet?  I haven't heard when on it.

Thanks.

Kristen/Karen, I get my info from you all on when a division goes through BattleStations.  If I get info for one division, I know 2 because they have brother divisions....except for 934 which doesn't have a brother division.  934 may go with a set of brother divisions or with 815.  So please ask your SRs for their BattleStations date and post here.  I will then add it to the schedule.

Only your SR can tell you, Z'sSweetie.  Read my post above to see who they could go with.

How can 224 have battle station just 2 days before graduation. I'm suppose to fly out on the 6th. How is one suppose to resked their flight with this schedule. Makes no sense to me.
got a letter from my son today battlestations for 03/221 is the 30th !!!

NYRican:  Actually, some groups in the past have had BattleStations on Wed night/Thurs morning before PIR which is really cutting it close...most families were in transit to Great Lakes (or already there) when the calls came in.  And, yes, there are times when some didn't pass (very very few), but they would probably have slept that afternoon and gone again the night before PIR (with the next PIR group), would be at PIR in uniform, but in the balcony because of being too tired to march.

The Navy is not really too concerned with the family schedules....they are just concerned with making sailors which is their job...so it is hard for families. There was one lady whose son called her on a Mon, his week of PIR.  Said he had not passed his run, would not graduate, do not come (scripted call that they must make when they fail their PFA).  I contacted the mom and told her not to cancel her travel plans because I knew that they were given more chances to pass that week, and most do.  She said she could wait until Wed but had to cancel by then or lose too much money.  So she received no call by Wed, cancelled, and guess what?  Her son passed the run on Thurs, did BattleStations that night, and was at PIR....alone.  My heart broke for him and his family.  They just had no money to book last minute and get there.  Another family flew in from the west coast, sat through PIR, and never saw their daughter.  They went up to her RDCs afterwards and were informed that she had not passed her PFA by then so was not there.  However, thankfully they were allowed 2 hours to visit with her, which they were very grateful for.  These cases, by the way, are rare...but they can happen.

Just pray hard and think postively!  Like I said, as long as they can pass their PFA (pray hard for that run!), they most likely will pass BattleStations---or will when they repeat.  The ones who usually miss PIR are those who fail their PIR and can't pass it before PIR.  I don't believe I have ever heard of someone missing PIR for failing their BattleStations, although some have to do it twice.  But that is usually less than 10 out of an entire PIR group.

Noelle:  Thanks for the date for 221 (which will be 222's also).  I will add to the schedule above!

Thanks for the pep talk.  My son is very nervous about passing his PFA.  He has been sick the entire time he has been there, and I hasn't even done a diagnostic pt test.  In the letter I got last Wednesday, he said he was feeling better, but only had a week and a half to prepare for his PFA.  He said he was really stressed about passing it.  I just told him to dig his heels in and give it his best shot, and reminded him that he could do all things through Christ who gives him strength..... now it is just waiting and praying.....
AMEN!  Such great advice you gave him.  I just gave my son similar advice last night...he was able to call me from his ship, in a down mood, and I hope I was able to get him back focused on "Who" is really in charge here...the Lord, of course!  Prayer...what would we do without it?  Hoping that all goes well for your son's PFA ...that he knows that with the Lord's help, he has it within him to get this done!
diannep: My SR (Div 224) is scheduled for the Jul 5th/6th BS. We'll be in flight at the time he's scheduled to be giving us the (God willing)  "I'm a Sailor Call". I am wondering if they can call when they choose within that 1pm-7pm time frame...or is it whenever they're told to call? We'll have a brief layover in Kansas City and arrive in Chicago about 3:30. I was thinking if I give him my itinerary and he's able to hold off, he can call when we've landed or during the layover.

Hmm, my son in Div 225 said though he had battlestations next week. Someone else with an SR in 225 heard the same thing. However, that wouldn't make sense according to the confirmed dates above.
