Hi there,
My son left for BC on 12/12 . He’s in division 116. I received one phone call on Jan 6. I did receive another short phone call prior to that but it was just him requesting medical records. I’ve also received a few letters . He’s doing ok but misses home a lot . He asked us to send more letters because he gets bored at night . Your daughter may appreciate more letters as well. At this point I’m mailing off a letter everyday . There seems to be a 6 day transit period on our letters. I’ve also sent a few letters through sandboxx for faster delivery. It’s very hard not being able to communicate with him more often , but I keep him in prayer . Now that our kiddos are 5 weeks in; it won’t be long now . Hang in there.
Hello there! My son left the same day 12/11. I got a call from him on 12/29. He is doing fine. He said guys in his division need to learn to listen and not talk so much. He is in division 108. I have written him about twice a week and he says that all in all things are going good. I include some funny Navy memes and he said he and his buddies get a kick out them. I pray that they get their stuff together before Battle Stations cause they need to be a team! I am with you...my nerves are horrible! But no news is good news! Looking forward to 2/1...have a good day we are all right there with ya!
