She's my Pride this is so Normal, your Emotions will be all over the place the first few weeks while she is gone. make sure she takes a calling card already activiated, a book of sdamps, a small address book with numbers and addresses. anything that can fit in a wallet. Also they are allowed to take cell phone so that way she can call you with the I'm here call. she will then put in the Box with her clothing and send it. I am also putting a site down so you can go over with her as to what to expect in the PFA. this will be done on the 5th business day of arriving. Wishing your Daughter the best in this Journey she will begin.

Maam if there is anything I can do to answer or help please know to reach out, When my Son left I was a total mess for the first few weeks, I was told to keep busy and believe me that will help ease the worry and anxiety you may feel, Congratulations to your Daughter.

shes my pride, be sure to check out the info that I previously left on your My Page, especially Things to Do in the Last Month before Your Future Sailor Leaves for the RTC.

What you are feeling is totally normal.

My son leaves July 31 for MEPS and then swears in August 2 at the Chicago White Sox game... looks like they will be in bootcamp about the same time.

I am having a hard week full of emotions!  I am so happy he is doing what he has wanted to do since he was 4 but sad that our family life will be different without him...

Hope your holding up ok. My daughter left on Monday still very emotional and miss her so much.
