Good Luck to everybody who has a S.R. taking part in Battle Stations tonight. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

you can get it at Wal-mart, K-mart, Target or if you're going to PIR they will have them at the NEX.

It must be plain black with no other colors.

JessicaB GREAT job keeping up with the mom's and making sure they know where the other pages are!  B/Z

Angie...thank you. I just can't stand the idea of a family member worrying about their loved one and not knowing that there is a group for them to join that will help with the anxiety as well as give them info and "connect" them with thier loved one.

Thank you JessicaB

I found this site on Friday. I am so sick with worry, we have not had any letters since March 30th or phone calls. But as they say "No news is good news". I found group Div 9 Ship 135 and joined the group. I am sure Jonathon is doing fine but as a mother you worry all the time. Thank you for the rapid response.

Check with the mom's who have had Sailors PIR already, lots of times the Sailor buys their own bag at the NEX.

CINNCINNATI MOM   Your PIR group will help you with the anxiety...they are all having the same feelings and worries. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!

Also, go to your page and scroll down to read the greeting message I left for you on your comment wall. It has links and other info that may be helpful.

Join the A school group as well as the rating (job) gorup for your rct....you'll get info about what will happen after boot camp.

I have a question that is actually totally off topic but in my letter my husband said that he only gets on base liberty. He is departing early Saturday morning for Groton, CT. Does this happen often or could he be mistaken? I know that he has not gotten in any trouble while in there so I am just wondering about this...I know only he knows the answer to that but any opinions on this would be appreciated!lol I have been asking everywhere I can think of!
Mirror...more than likely his RDC is messing with him. They tend to do that...write your rct and let him know to not worry about that. IF for some reason he does have base liberty...it'll be okay you'll still get to see him BUT I really feel that he is being messed with
Thank you so much! I know I must sound so annoying asking everyone, but it really worried me because I wanted to spend time alone with him. He graduates next Friday actually and I am so ready to see him. But thank you so much!
Yes, not annoying at all. i understand. Plan on relaxing at the hotel. Take him some comfy clothes to wear in the hotel (esp undies) He'll want to take a long shower, eat and maybe even nap...or just relax and talk. Catch up with friends and family. Take a laptop and cellphone
lol...underwear for him is definitely at the top of my list! But yes relaxing at the hotel is the only thing he wants to do, besides getting some Mexican food...I am sure leaving base will be such a blessing for him! :)
