If my son went to Boot Camp on March 11th. What dates should I look at for graduation? Is anyone on here that there son or daughter went on the same day? I am still a wreck. I hate not being able to talk to him or know how he is doing.
Thanks for your help through this. I need all the friends and support possible.

You will not know when his graduation (aka PIR) is until he sends you the letter stating the date. It could be 8-9 weeks from this coming from friday.
My daughter left on the same day. I too am waiting patiently...or at least trying to be. I have the same questions that you have. When we opened the front door this morning, there was an express mail delivery tag on the door which was puzzling because we weren't expecting anything. Then I read the reply about "the box" and surely hope that this is what it is. I'll keep you posted....
My boyfriend of 3 years left that same day from texas. i have been trying to read has much i could about the navy. I miss him a lot. I hate not being able to talk to him or know how he is doing. I was just wondering if anyone has recieved a personal letter from anyone that left on this date. I have been out of town for work. i can't wait to get back home and see if i have a letter. also does anyone know when graduation is?
Hello all! Not sure if this will help or not but my son left from Dallas, TX on 3/11 and will PIR on 5/03 but I received his "box" the Friday after he left and his Form letter the following Monday...pretty much just a fill in the blank letter with their address and PIR date. My nephew however left Dallas on 3/4 one week prior and will also PIR on 5/03. My sister just recveived a personal letter last week and my nephew's first call home was on 3/16 his second Sat. My son's first call was this past Sat. on 3/23 also his second Sat. he said their first "liberty" would be on Sun and that would be their first chance to send and also receive personal mail. Also that they would only be able to send personal mail on Sundays but I believe should recieve it daily now.
That is good info except it is "holiday routine" not Liberty when they are able to write letters. There is more on "holiday routine" within Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones). I keep hearing about mail being received on Sunday and that is not typical. Mail is received at Mail Call once a Recruit Mail Petty Officer is trained and is in the evening Monday through Friday. There is more onthat in Arrival and What Happens at the RTC and Letter Writing & Fun Stuff/Questionnaires to send to your Recruit.
