Don't feel too bad. The moms that mail letters as soon as they get an (often incorrect) address from the Recruiter are unaware that their early letters just sit in the mail room undelivered. Until Recruits in your son's division learn proper mail handling procedures, nobody gets mail. Now that everyone has the correct address in the form letter, mail will start to flow to your Recruit.
START WRITING NOW! EVERY DAY! EVEN IF ITS JUST A SILLY CARD!

when my last son went in, I got the wrong address from the recruiter, sent a book of stamps, he never got the letter and it never came back home, I hope some other sailor was able to use them, lol! This time I waited for the form letter
My son graduates Sept 12th 2014 ship 09 division 281 anyone else with that division??
What day did you son go in? I am trying to estimate my sons graduation date, he went in on July 14th.
My son went July 14th and is set to grad 9/12/14
OMG! I was estimating that my sons grad date would be the 19th!! Is that what your formal letter said? I am dying here my letter hasn't reached me yet and I want to book my flights now!!! however will not until I get a confirmed graduation date. So they do graduate on the 8th week? Now I need to call the hotel and change my reservation date.
