Timothy - that's great that you have such a good recruiter - with that being said though you should still wait until you get the official letter from your SR in case anything changes and he gets put into a different division.

Please join this group for boot camp moms, where you'll also find a group for your Pass in Review (graduation) date (once they have it officialy posted).  Here you'll find lots of valuable information.

Like B'sNukeMom said, that's great you have a good recruiter, but wait on the form letter.

Your sons division may change within the next few days because of the new PFA testing. If you send letters now, they will be delayed getting to him, and they might just be returned.

Your son will not receive mail until he moves over to his training ship. Even then it will be one to two weeks before mail starts to be distributed. A recruit must first be trained to handle the mail before it can be distributed. Any mail that is received before that happens is set aside for sorting a time allows.

My son arrived on 6-27 as well..... his recruiter is thinking Monday he will be able to have solid info for address..division..etc. I'm a bundle of emotions...wondering and of course worrying.

My son is 328 as well. Well tentatively.....gotta wait on that form letter :) Best of luck to our kids!

My son left for Boot camp on 6/27/2018.  I received his box on Tuesday, I am so ready just to hear his voice and know that he is ok

My son arrived 6/26 actually got the call12:50 am on 6/27 that he was sending his box and he would call me in2 to 3 weeks . Got his box but no call or letter yet . Have you or any other member received a letter or call?

Hi - Californiamom! Our son arrived on 6/26 as well. We got his “box” on 6/29 and are still waiting for the Form Letter, hoping we’ll get it this week.

My son arrived in Chicago on 27th I got the form letter this week. Still Waiting for call. I hope I didn’t miss it.
My daughter also arrived on 6/27/2018. I don't know how long the call was supposed to be but mine was for 13 seconds. I received the box this past Thursday and now I'm waiting for the form letter. (Good luck to you and yours)
My son in law arrived on June 27 also. We received his letter yesterday but still haven’t received his box. Starting to worry is that normal?

My son arrived 6/27/2018 - I received "the box" last Tuesday.  That was quicker than expected and warmed my heart to see his handwriting on the box. Still waiting on the form letter.....praying it comes this week! My patience muscle is getting worked out that's for sure! Can't wait!
