My husband just left for boot camp on January 13th, I still don't have his packet of information yet so I don't know PIR or division... But anyone else's leave on the 13th? :)

My daughter left on the 12th, no official information however her recruiter was able to pass on the ship/division number and following this site I'm guessing at her PIR date :)  Seems like I should be receiving 'the letter' soon as I see other Moms are starting to get theirs in!  Good luck!!!

My daughter left on the 12th from Houston to Chicago, I just received the form letter today.  She is in Ship 11 Div 106, the graduation date for her is 06-Mar-2015.

I have not received the letter yet, but this post is good news for me!  Provided the information from the recruiter is correct.  Yay for march 6th and our girls!!!

My recruiter told me he didn't have a graduation date but had his address but when writing what I assume is the divisions and ship number he wrote it as "DIV R2015108M" and that's not how I see others written so I don't know how to decifer that... Any clues?

Probably Div 108.

Wait for the form letter for the complete address and grad date. Patience.

That is a weird one :)  I'm assuming my daughter's grad date off her division number and the # of division per TG.  Waiting on letter for confirmation and prior to making travel arrangements.

Recruiters get slightly different info then what is sent home in your Form Letter (it is in "Navy speak" for them LOL). Plus, they do not receive the Graduation date in the info.

DIV is Division

R2015 refers to the Fiscal Year (Military Fiscal year for all branches is October 1 to September 30)

108M is the Division # and M is for male.

This is the info that is in the system as of now. It can change though. Recruits have been known to be moved to another Ship. Like has been mentioned, it is best to wait for the Form letter. I know it is hard.

The number of Divisions per TG can vary as I am sure you have seen. Anywhere from 4 to 16 Divisions.

Recruits may arrive on the same day and have different PIR dates. Females are a part of Integrated Divisions and so they can be on hold to wait for more males to fill it or they may be put into a Division that has been waiting for them ( the usual case). (All female Divisions are not the standard. It has been done for special occasions in the last year or so. just a little FYI only :-D)

THANK YOU! I asked some ladies in a fb group I'm in and its like I was speaking another language, no one has been able to help, and honestly most didn't seem like they even wanted to help. I know I need to be patient, I was just confused on what he told me. Thanks everyone :)

The average time to receive The Form Letter is ten days after arrival. The holiday yesterday may move that back a day.

I left info for you on your My Page.

I noticed you asked me a question as I just signed up on this site last night.  I  have a daughter that arrived in Chicago on the 12th.
