OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Got everyone to this point! Thank you ladies...you're terrific.
Hi Dana! I don't mean to break into this thread of names, cities & states, but I was just scrolling down thru and didn't find anyone else from MA. Is that true? No one?? I guess I'll have to go to MA Navy Moms and shake a few trees and see if anyone responds. I didn't even see an address from RI? I want to be at a packing party, but it looks like a party of one right now!
Donna
Well, that's true. I was actually born in MA and raised in CT myself...does that count?...LOL. You would think there are more moms from the Groton and RI area. Maybe they just haven't seen the post yet. I'll let you know if there's a post. Thank you my dear and how's that New England weather...I miss the beautiful fall foliage and apple picking (can't find a good McIntosh for anything here in FL).
Thanks, EJ. Only one per state so far. New members are always welcome! Perhaps they haven't heard of MAS...well not for long with all the Pepsi publicity right! You may find that the Pepsi news release will help in your local areas. I'll post if anyone signs in from your area(s). Thanks everyone. Enjoy the fabulous weather!
