For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

He'll be able to buy them at the Navy Exchange or you can mail them to him although he won't be able to wear them for the first few weeks of A school (underwear is an exception). As he moves through the phases of Liberty - he'll be able to go off base and buy them as well. (by then he'll be allowed to wear them)

My husband is putting me on his page 2 as his dependent so I'm not sure if he has to specifically put down that I'm moving with him or if since I'm on his page 2, they'll automatically know that I'm moving with him. Like are the rdc's gonna help him with his page 2 and help him with everything that has to be done? Because my husband doesn't know to ask these questions.

The page two has nothing to do with his orders, other than show he has a dependent and who that is. They most certainly help him, it is part of in-processing.
Orders to nuke school for married students are accompanied orders. Your move is authorized, so you can relax about that. Everything will be taken care of after boot camp, once he checks into school. RTC has nothing to do with SC, so it is not a priority just yet. Just prep for a move by tossing, donating or selling everything you do not need, getting your vehicle ready for a road trip if you have one, and make a big file of important papers to hand carry. Don't pack anything though. Just declutter and organize. The more you do now, the easier the move is when it happens.

What do you mean by "orders to nuke school for married students are accompanied order's"? I'm just really confused on how all of this go upon happening. Like does all he have to do is put me on his page 2 and then boot camp will do the rest on notifying nuke school that he will be accompanied by me? Like what's the step by step processing on updating page 2, and getting me on the orders? Can you explain it from start to finish on how everything gets done
