Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Check for the address in the groups I have given you previously. Know that mail goes to a central location and he must go get it. You can send it priority mail, but remember that if you request a signature, it will not be his. Email him or message him on facebook to attempt to get the correct address and/or when you send it so that he will know to go to the mail room.

Thank you for your quick reply. He did send me his address now but when I checked with ups there web site said it was not a deliverable address and gave me another. I guess that is why I am confused.

It is best to send mail to military bases through the US Postal service. Sometimes UPS cannot deliver on base.

UPS cannot just go on base to deliver, that's why. If UPS suggested another address, it is the central one they deliver to. You can't get a package directly into your sailor's hands at the barracks. When the post office opens in the morning, try USPS overnight or express mail. It will still go to a central mail room.
