OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

I have not received my first letter.  When did your son arrive.  I am on west coast,,,,,maybe it takes longer?

ugh, I'm so impatient and I miss him

Tessa 57, I know how it is to miss them. Everyone on this site has gone through, is going through, or will go through exactly the same roller coaster ride of emotions that you and I are both feeling. My son left for BC on June 19th. He has been there 2 weeks 2 days. I just received his first letter yesterday. This is hard. Hang in there. I know I am trying.
Totally relatable. I go to the mailbox asap to see if there's a letter. Maybe they have very restrictive time right now. Trying to be patient for my first letter. This forum gives me support cause at least y'all know what it's like
