Our son said that they too earned the privilege to write on Tues and Thurs and the letters would be mailed the next day.  They would have 25 minutes to write on those days.  Hope we get to hear more often.  Less than a month til PIR!  :-)

Hello everyone!!  My son Sean was just medically separated from this ship.  I wish everyone luck on their SR''s graduation.  I was looking forward to meeting everyone, but sometimes it's just not meant to be.  Good luck with everything!!  Sean will get better, and hopefully return to bootcamp in 6-12 months.

Good luck to Sean Tell him that we all wish him luck and pray for a speedy recovery!

Sorry to hear about that. Hope he is okay.
PIR is getting closer and closer for this PIR group. I still can't believe September is half over, Here is just a heads up, I am working on the ribbons for your PIR group, I have several that I haven't received the payment for so if you ordered and forgot to send your payment please remember to do that :-) I will begin mailing ribbons for this PIR group in just a few days. If you have any questions at all  send me a message or a friend request. Thanks so much!!! Lala

hi i am new to this... how much are ribbons if i order one?

If you order 4 they are 4 for $30.00 and that includes Priority shipping. You can order less than 4 or more than 4. I sent you all the info just a few min ago when I received your friend request. Thanks

Hi Lala --  I am clueless on what the ribbons are for.  Can you explain?  Sounds like something we would like to have.  I am sending you a friend request, can you fill me in?  Thanks so much-- your info on this

N4M site has been so helpful.

I sent you all the info, but here is an explanation. The ribbons are to wear to PIR and or Meet and Greet. They are a great way to show your pride for your Sailor, a great way to recognize other N4M members and they make an awesome keepsake that you can put in a scrapbook or shadowbox. They are about the size of your hand and they have your Sailors name on one side and DIV number on the other side. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Lora
Down to 20 days People!!!   Cant wait to see my son in his uniform!!!

I feel exactly the same way. Can't wait to see him. Got a letter yesterday and he sounds great. I think they are all working well together now.

I am so glad to see that I am not the only mom counting down the days not weeks. I got two very little letters this week. He sounds good, tired but good. He says him and his rack mate are getting along well. Leslie would you like to try and do lunch this week? When are you flying out of Sac?
