For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Female Navy officer uniforms needed!
Hey everyone, sorry I'm not sure if this is the appropriate place to post this but I am looking for some used Navy officer uniforms. This fall I will be going to school at the Texas Maritime Academy and I am required to purchase a complete set of Naval officer uniforms. Unfortunately, I'm a broke college student and I am trying to aquire some of the required items that are slightly used to save some money.
I'm 5'11 and about 175lbs and my shoe size is 10.5-11. I usually wear size 12 pants an a medium shirt. Below is the link to the list of required items, If anyone has anything that would fit me that you would be willing to sell please let me know!

Unfortunately I'm nowhere near a navy base, the closest military installation is Fort Sill Oklahoma, but that's an Army basic training site so I don't know if they'd help me. If I went to a tailor and had them write down my measurements would that help?

Thank you SOOO much for your help, I've been searching around on the Internet and I think I've found some uniforms that might be my size. Is there a Navy size conversion chart anywhere, based off the measurements the tailor took that would tell me what size uniforms I need?
My measurements are as follows;
neck- 14.5 inches
armpit to wrist- 24 inches
waist (slightly above my belly button)- 30.5 inches
hips (around the biggest part of my rear
end)-40 inches
inseam- 33 inches
head-22 inches
