I see you have joined the group for PIR 03/02/2012. I actually think your SR will have PIR a week later, but it is possible that your son could have PIR on that date if he was one of the last to fill the division. You have joined Boot Camp Mom's and that is a great place to meet others and discuss what is going on. You may also want to consider joining PIR Reference Information and New Members Stop Here or at least checking out the information within the Pages and Discussions. If you find that your SR will PIR on a different date than 03/02/2012, then go to GROUPS: Listed By PIR Date (Pass In Review, ie Boot Camp Graduation) and see if there is a group for that date--the next one will probably be up by the end of this week. Thanks so much. I was just reading your profile and had to laugh. My son will still be eating McDonalds as well. I believe you are correct. I think his PIR will be the following week. I guess i was over anxious. I will remove myself from this list. Thank you for the other groups.
You are so welcome.
:o) When my Sailor comes home from overseas, he still has to stop at his favorite fast food places because even though McDonald's is in other countries, the food is not the same.
You can continue to check out what is going on in the 03/02/12 group until the group for your son's PIR date is formed.
Doubleccheck the street address your Recruiter gave you against those listed at http://bootcamp.navy.mil/contact_recruit.asp. Most of the time the Recruiter has the right address, but every now and then, they give the wrong street address for the Ship. This will cause any letters sent to be delayed.
Will do..... hopefully i will get it this week..
Mom son arrived on the 12th. It would be neat if they were in the same ship and division. Please add me as a friend if you would like and we can keep in touch. How are you holding up?

Hello,
My son arrived January 17th late night. I didn't get a phone call. This left me concerned. However, I did get his box Friday, January 20th. I really didn't expect as he told me he was going to donate everything. Anyway, I couldn't even open the box. My 10 year old opened it and went through everything. Later I too went through the box. I guess I'll wash everything this weekend and maybe... just maybe... I'll go into his room too. I guess he'll have PIR on the week ending the 17th of March. I, just like others here and anxious. I'm calculating the days and posting vacation on my job.
