PIR: October 7, 2011

Bunker is quick!!!!!  Was just getting ready to post the link!!!!  See lots of help on this site!

Hahahaha ---- well, I am happy to know that I have to have my track shoes on. FYI, I maintain a list of all PIR groups. As soon as one is formed, the ladies who are more active with the individual PIR groups send me the link to new group. It's easy to access. Just click on the MAIN tab, scroll a little, you'll see the Groups: Listed By Navy Ship, Group Listed By PIR Date & Groups: Listed By Navy Jobs (Rating). You can also find them under the HOW TO DO STUFF ON N4M category in FORUM.

If you find newbies who are looking for groups in one of those areas ............ it's really good to have members like you helping out.

The Navy For Moms admin is kind enough to keep these discussions featured for easy reference.

P.S. how is your sailor doing?

My sailor is still in Goose Creek.  Classing up to Prototype on 10/21.  My other son is flying out to visit him and DIL for a few days the first weekend in Oct.  It's kind of a surprise for both of my sons.  Enlisting my DILs aid in the big secret so she can pick up son1 at airport and surprise her hubby (son2).  My sons have always been super close (only 19 mos apart in age) and miss each other terribly.  Nuke son2 wants to show his bro the sights before he steps into the hell of prototype!  Of course, I'll have to give son1 his plane ticket a couple of days in advance so he can pack.  Working up little white fibs and evasive actions to querries!
