Hi.. My daughter is graduating Nov 5th and I was wondering how will I know if she will be able to spend time with us after graduation and for how many hours? And would we be able to see my daughter the whole weekend?

Thank you,

My son just graduated on 10/15 and if everything goes well, yes you will be seeing your daughter following graduation (unless she has watch duty) and unless she is a grad and go (which means that they leave for A school shortly after graduation). My son had liberty on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 8pm. It depends upon the division as to what time you can pick her up in the mornings. We got to pick our son up at 8am. Remember to keep your parking pass in your car for the entire weekend - that is how you get back on base to pick them up every morning. I don't know if you have hotel reservations yet or not but we stayed at Springhill Suites and they have a shuttle ($6 a person round trip) which they deliever you right up to the door and pick you up when you are ready to leave the base. The reason I suggest this is that the line to get on base on Friday morning is very long!!!!!!!! Enjoy your time with your daughter ---- it is a weekend that you will never forget!

Have you found out yet if she is G&G? If she's G&G where is she going to A school at? G&G to Great lakes is good because after PIR she'll have to go maove her gear and then MAY get overnights...G&G elsewhere means that she'll have the afternoon of PIR with her aamily and then early Sat morning go to the airport to wait for her flight.

Otherwise...she'll get the afternoon after PIR till about 7-8pm, then all day Sat and Sun from about 7-8 am till about 7-8 pm
Hi Jessica... Thank you for replying... I have not heard from my daugther much and as I read; not too many parents do till after BC... I am not sure as of right now if she is a G&G I am hoping to find out or know more soon... I hope my daughter will get the liberty to stay out till 8pm, it will be nice to see her and talk to her...
