While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Headache!!!
I have been trying to get through MEPS for like 2 months Now. Everything started because I have the appendix out so they want all my medical records...So fine! I have all my med records for them. Then they asked me to provide a letter from my Doctor stating that I have no issues with my appendix after been removed (my appendix was removed 17yrs ago).. Couple months ago I have this pain in my right side abdomen and I though that I had kidney stones so the doctor send me to get an ultrasound from my urinary tract to make sure that nothing is obstructing it. My DOctor told me that Im clean of kidney stones.( What I didn't realize was that I was doing exercise and probably was muscle pain) So Meps asked me for a doctor letter explaining that nothing wrong with my urinary tract which I gave it to them. So that wasn't enough for them, they asked me to get documents from my Obgyn, which I have it for them too.. But still not enough the want a letter of my urinary tract again but from my OBGYN. I told my recruiter that the OBGYN didnt send me to do the ultrasound was my family doctor but they don't understand that.. So I think Im gonna quit trying maybe this is not for me..
