Hello, again,, visit from the recruiter

Hello, everyone!  Been a while, again since my last visit.  I have since had surgery, my youngest has turned 18 and graduated high school.  Jacob, my youngest son will be 20 on the 1st of August.  Joshua, my oldest is still struggling with the ASVAB.  Tonight, I got a call from the boys' recruiter.  Jacob is going to go ahead and go to MEPS.  He will leave tomorrow night, and return  on Wednesday evening.  Hopefully, he will have a signed contract when he returns, but, as the recruiter put it, with the economy being the way it is, it may take a while.  Joshua is trying a new route to pass the ASVAB, he really wants to attend boot camp with Jacob.  The recruiter came to our home tonight and had Jacob sign some paperwork for MEPS and answered questions, mostly from me, for over an hour.  He was nothing like I had invisioned.  He was not very tall, very quiet, and for being 26 with two babies of his own, he looked very young.  He was so polite and answered every one of my questions, yes, I actually had a written list.   Safety was my first issue, the last thing he said where this issue was concerned was the fact the Navy is the only force that deals with North Korea,, and left it at that.  He made me feel so much better when he told me how well trained they are to deal with whatever could possilby come up, even better when he said he's never had to use those skills.  Im sure you all know the answers already to what I asked, so I wont go into detail about the conversation.  I do, however feel better,, but not about the part where my boys will be gone.  Jacob did say, for the first time that he is a little nervous.  I feel so bad for Joshua, he really wants to go with Jacob, he wanted to go to MEPS with him.  I pray that he can pass this test and meet his own goals.  He is very creative, he wants someday to have his own fancy restaurant that displays beautiful art and, as he puts it, beautiful food.   Well, here is my update on my precious boys.  I will post more when Jacob returns from MEPS.  I have included two very current pictures of my boys. Go to YouTube and search Navy boot camp, graduation, Battlestations 21 (CNN does it) the navy way of folding and ironing. Lots of good info on here as well
