What's an FRG?
Family Readiness Group. Usually associated with a ship/combat group to assist the families during the deployments. I wouldn't expect to find a Navy one in Kansas, honestly.
Thanks, Anti M. bcmadness, found this link/website:
Aunti M I haven't heard of one in KS but there is a KS group. We try to get together about once a year in a central part of the state. We also offer support any way we can if you let us know what you may need. Would love to have you as part of our group. We have moms from all over the state. We have met in Wichita and Topeka. I have sent you a friend request be happy to help any way I can.
When will the next time that the Kansas group meets and where.
I am assuming your loved one is assigned to a ship so check out the ship's website most of them have one and under contact info it will show the frg group. of course it wont be in Ks but it may help you and it will be filled with lots of info. I followed my sons ship with their frg and even was able to contribute to a lot of their events. Give it a try.
Ask for the Navy Family support office or ask to speek with the Ombudsman for that area.
