Is this spam? I'm going to guess you sell something for these doors.
No, it is a thing now. Decorate the door. Like in school.
Personally, it makes me uncomfortable. PERSEC in an uncertain world. But I am a stick in the mud. A cynical stick.
It's a thing in a hotel room? Why? It's not like the graduation is there. I don't get it.
I guess if banners are not allowed in the drill hall, put them up on the hotel door?
I'd be mortified.
I would agree, unless I was staying at the Navy Lodge, I can't imagine even considering this. But of course I come from the land of the ridiculously huge mums for High School Homecoming, so can't say much.
ConcernedDad and Anti,
We are unfortunately decades older than these young ladies. As long as it's not disclosing information which could be sensitive .... it is rather heartwarming to see how excited these gals are. Our support is different than having a sweetie supporting them .... just saying.
It is rather adorable.
Just rubs up against the way I was trained by the Navy to keep a low public profile for so long. Although in Great Lakes, you can spot the fresh new sailors fairly easily. They are so excited! Very refreshing.
Alright, I apologize as I didn't mean to offend. This is definitely a new one on me.
I guess I'm always on the lookout here for unusual posts. Carry on.
I have heard of people decorating their hotel room door for their "Sailor". Seems like it would be a nice thing to do and nice for your love one to see how proud you are of him/her when they go to the room to unwind and to visit with their family/friends. Just remember to us putty or painters tape when hanging your decorations.
