When my son joined the navy I started looking for Navy graphics for different online groups I belong to. The link for your site popped up and I had a look. It was very informative so I decided this is where I needed to be to get answers not to mention a shoulder to cry on. LOL
Luv,
This is a great place to be and full of wonderful answers, Welcome! There are so many wonderful women here and some dads too and they are all more than willing to answer any question you may have. Very quickly this has become a family of Navy families who laugh with each other, celebrate with each other and cry when the need arises. Welcome to N4M! :0)

i found out by asking a question on Google and it listed this site as an answer
Shannon,
Welcome to the site. This is a wonderful place to get answers to just about any question you may have about the Navy. There are wonderful women here and some dads too who have someone in every stage of Navy life. If they don't know the answer, they know where or who to send you to find out what you need. Welcome!

I typed in Navy Parental Concerns in my search engine and this was one of the sites that came up. It was also the first one I clicked on...I am so glad I did. I didn't have to go back to any of the other sites. None of them could have made me feel better like the N4M's have done. I have been welcomed and feel like I have made some wonderful friends.

Thanks N4M
I can't tell you all how much I appreciate you

I stumbled across Navy for moms while seeking any info available about my son in bc. AND WHAT A BLESSING THIS IS.
There was another Navy Moms site on the Great Lake site that made me google Navy Moms and then I found this site.
I found it by going on internet and typing in navyparents and seen this. And glad I found it.
The first "letter" I rec'd from my son that had all the official Navy info gave a link to the Official Navy military site, from there I went to the Great Lakes Site and while somewhere in there I clicked on the Navy 4 Mom's site. It was a Godsend. Thank you Thank you!

Also in my kids real letter, he mentioned that a support group for Navy mom's came to talk to them. He said the url was something like navy moms online. net. I just assumed he meant this one.
I found this site through the Navy site https://www.cnic.navy.mil/GreatLakes/index.htm
Although I could not find it a second time, it was there somewhere.

I found it by accident when I heard about the storms and tornados in Chicago, Went to the Great Lakes Navy site to see if they had any info and boy oh boy did I find lots of good info when I found N4M!!

Gotta say thank you for this great site!
