Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I saw the commercial when I was watching Dancing with Stars/ I memorized the website and went on the next day. Very happy to see the advertisements for this group. I passed it on to co-workers with kids thinking about the Navy..julie

I was working on the computer and watching the Travel Channel at the same time. I saw it advertised on the Travel Channel and thought I would take a look. I wish I would have found this site 3-yrs ago.

I saw the Navy for Moms television commercials. I wish I had known about it from the beginning; I didn't learn about it till my son was through with BC, A school, and power school. Nevertheless, it has been great to connect with so many wonderful women. I have learned a lot since I joined.

I opened my email looking for a reply from my son in the navy and there across the top of yahoo mail was an advertisement. I almost fell out of my chair. I've been looking for somthing like this for almost 4 years. Words can't explain how happy this makes me, knowing there are others there to answer my questions and understands what we as mom's go thru. I hope also that I can pass knowledge along to others with experiences from being a Navy MOM.
