Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!
Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!
Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I saw Navy for Moms from a commercial from TV. I just signed up today and hope to make it easier for me by reading and meeting other Navy moms who kids are in the Navy. My son has not left yet but will be and I know I am gonna be sad when he is gone but very proud of him.

i found out by a commercial on tv i was so happy to hear about the web site i joined the next morning don't spend alot of time hear but i do visit it helps to know that i am not losing it and my feelings are normal to others that have a son or daughter in the navy thanks for this web site us navy. lynda

I found you on TV several weeks ago before my son left. I thought it would be a great support mehanism for me. Perhaps I could get in contact with "moms" in the Colo Spgs area. perhaps in the future it looks like you share updates & info with each other.

I found it on TV, the commercial came on and I wasn't watching the TV, just listening to it while on the computer. I wrote the website down and decided to check it out a few days later.

If I remember correctly (after all its been a whole day since I found you all) I was searching for a new ringtone for my phone (it happened to be Anchors Aweigh) and it was through google that a link to that song provided a link to this site.
