I found this sit through a tv commercial.
I was looking for "Navy Mom" clothing, and saw the link in the search engine. Then, later, my daughter sent me the name of the website in a letter.
ready for this. I was sitting on the computer playing msn games and while waiting for the game to upload this site came up! Whoever came up with this site, you are one awesome person - thank you!
I found the link on my Myspace page. I guess it showed up because I have the phrase Proud Navy Mom in my profile. I don't really care how it found my page, I am just grateful that it was there. I honestly never would have looked for any help. I guess I am too Texan. I just reach down and grab my bootstrap and walk on (even when I never fully straighten up and look stupid walking) metaphorically speaking that is. :)
I actually found this site Navy 4 Moms as an advertisement on MySpace. I don't always take MySpace seriously so when I found what I found here, I was really excited. Thank you for all of you being here and sharing your hopes, dreams, fears and inspirations. I hope I'm able to give back what I have already taken from here... support from others who truly understand... What a wonderful place!!!

God Bless Our Sailors and the Mom's that Love them!!!

I found this website today on the rachelray website in an ad. This is amazing because my son has told me he will probably be deployed soon. I have a strong faith but I worry for his 3 children who count on him. This website will be a great help to me I am sure.
I saw an add in a magazine while waiting in a hospital waiting room. I never thought it would be such a cool site. This is my first day here and I find it easy to navigate through. The knowledge and the support we can get from each other through this site is awesome. Keep up the good work!!! Khat
I saw a tv commercial. Went straight to my computer.
I was struggling when my son left for Boot Camp, and Googled "Navy Mom" just looking for some place where I could get info - the better informed I am the better I can support his decisions. This site was one of the biggest "hits" on the search. Come to find out, not only have I learned a lot about the processes, I've made a lot of new "friends" who are going through the same thing I am - convincing me I was NOT going crazy!!! Plus - the ones who are on here who are truely on the "inside" have been so extremely helpful with my questions. I could never get through all of this without the kind of support I have found here.
I found the two page ad of Karen Gallagher in the February 2009 issue of Better Homes and Gardens. Thanks for all the info that seems to be here. I have ALOT of looking to do. Joyce
I found this site because my son who has been in the Navy for about 15 months now sent me a picture of the Navy for Moms logo! God love him anyway! He knows what a rough time I had dealing with him growing up and going away and he has done everything he knows to make it easier for me. I truly was blessed when this child was given to me!
My husband found this as a link from the Great lakes Naval training website. We were missing our son the day after he left and realized that we didn't even get an emergency contact number. This is very helpful!
