Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi, so happy to tell you...my husband got a 266 on the ASVAB...that's really good, I think....anyways, I found the site by various links through Google...I, for one, welcome the Google overlords (as my husband Michael says:))...he might be right, I'm very glad to have found this site and have gotten seriously almost ALL the good information that I've had about ANYTHING to do with the USN right here. Thank you!
my son's recruiter handed out a little brochure with a magnet in it to all the moms at their Future Sailor Picnic. April was their fun month, so instead of regular DEP meetings, they went bowling one week and a picnic the next.
I was on a flight back home from great lakes and the girl in the seat next to me was also returning from visiting there.. We got to talking about the navy and this and that and she told me about it.. so glad she did :)

My son's recruiter gave me info about the site. He has been in bc for almost 6 weeks & i've only had 1 phone call & just today the second letter. I finally started cruising on Monday; it has been the best thing for me. I am hooked!!
Hi, maybe I sent a message to the wrong person, but anyway, I found out about you in the "Creating Keepsakes" mag. It made my whole day!! Thanks
