I found you on the http://www.nstc.navy.mil/rtcgl/family/index.html site…
My son just got to Great lakes training tonight and I went to the site to learn about what is going to be happening in his life for the next couple months. (I was also looking for a schedule to find out when his graduation would be, but there is no schedules so I'll have to wait til he writes)
WELCOME junie B! its a long 9 weeks~~FM moms are here to help!
I found this site from the nstc website.
I just knew there had to be a list out there for mom's to ask questions. So I did a search and came up with this one.

I belonged to the yahoo Navy mom's list for awhile but left - wasn't what I needed yet.
I found it when trying to find out anything that I could about the Navy and especially Bootcamp. I noticed the link that you mentioned above and felt like I had found heaven. This has been so helpful and all of the people on the site are so wonderful and caring. It is so wonderful to belong to such a caring community of Moms going through the same struggles and helping one another get through each daily challenge. I can't thank you enough for this website, it has helped me keep my sanity.

nstc web site
I found a flyer in our local paper right after my son left for boot camp. I was hesitent on signing up, but once I did, there are no regrets. The people on this site are very helpful and answer all my questions that I have. The people are very nice and I will be staying on for a long time. To Joyce and Karen...Thank you soooo much! The warm welcome and assistance given is forever greatful.

I found the site because of a commercial on TV about it. It shows a bunch of Navy personnel and shows some of the things Moms say to your kids ie.." wait til your father gets home", "your face will freeze like that" and other silly things we say to our kids from time to time. I just had to look at the site, and I am glad I did. I hope to meet alot of other Navy moms and share our joys, fears and tears.
fun..i haven't seen that !
