Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

hurt... any advice?
I'm the closest person to my boyfriend, we love each other to the ends of the earth. But last night, the first and most likely last phone call that he will get for three weeks, he made to his sister.
I'm so hurt by this, even though I know it seems silly. But he promised me that every chance he got to communicate with me, he would. The fact that its day one, and he already broke a promise(and a big one, at that. Because that call was all I had for awhile.) makes me feel so worried about this entire experience and it hurts my heart. I'm afraid that its going to happen again.. If it did, I don't know what I would do. It would break my heart.
What do I do?

Well when my husband (then boyfriend) was in bootcamp i didnt get the " im ok" call. To be foreal, it really didnt bother me. He called his mom. That was fine with me.I understand you are close to your boyfriend but im sure he wanted Family to know he was ok first DONT make this a big deal because it would be all for nothing. Trust me it will be days you will be waiting for calls and letters and nothing will come.Are you goin to think he broke a promise then? If you know he loves you then you have NOTHING to worry about.

Please take a deep breath. These guys are under the gun to make calls with limited opportunities. His family needs to hear from him too. Remember his mother carried him for nine months and gave birth to him. If all goes well for you, he will one day be married to YOU, not his family but don't "over dramatize" a forgotten call or a first call that went to someone else.
In the meantime, don't forget your own family, your education, your other friends - keep busy, keep having a life. It will go well. Let it happen. Trust me, these guys misses their sweethearts more than they can put into words. So just stay patient.
