Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

Today was a little rough for me, im unemployed right now because i just had a baby almost 3 weeks ago even though my baby is in the nicu I still cant work right now.So I think that I have too much time too think about my husband and it gets rough but my 20 month old daughter thank God for her
keeps me company and sometimes keeps my mind off of my husband. Thanks for asking. How are you today? Any sadness?
Have you recieved Christian's box yet? I wish the form didnt take so long to come because even though i feel better writing I would feel better if I knew he was reading them.

OMG LISA I FEEL A LITTLE BETTER TODAY. It rained today in dallas were it has not rained for over 40 days and we have had temps of 100 or more for about 3 months staight. I saw my son in the Nicu last night and he is doing great he weighs 5lbs now and is so cute (at 1st he looked like a little old man- the case of Benjemin Button lol) but i still love him I haven't even cried yet today but I know its coming it doesnt take much to get me started. Ive just been writing waiting for his form letter so i can have a address.If it doesn't come soon I might ask if his recruiter if he has it. How about you, how was work???

Vonecia--You have your hands FULL with two small kids. It is completely normal to feel sad and lonely with your husband gone, let alone being overwhelmed with the responsibility of two small children and one in the hospital. Like the others have said, you can and will make it through! Pray and know others are praying for you. Hopefully you'll get your form letter by mid week and be able to send him all the letters you are writing. I know it is hard, but try to keep your letters upbeat because he's going to be incredibly lonely missing you and the kids. Make sure you tell him funny stories about the things your daughter is saying and doing. Take pictures and try to incorporate them into your letters if you can. Even though you may not be together when he's in A school, it will be SOOO much better because you can call and text almost every day! Look forward to that. :) God bless you and your children. May God protect your family and bring you through these rough seas.

Thank you I needed it. I had a bad day yesterday, except for seeing my son, I cried so much yesterday. Im better though. Can I bring him his cell phone at PIR?
