Hi Moms…I am presently trying to make a deal with the book company, “Write it Down”. They make wonderful journals for many different occasions and situations. I am hoping to get them to make a ’journal’ for the USS Dwight D Eisenhower that will be going out on tour in year. I hoping to get these book made special with the ships name/tour dates/or some kind of personal cover. I would love to be able to send one to everyone of the Sailor going out on tour so they can write down every experience they go through from the day they leave for tour until the day they get back. I am really excited about getting these done for OUR SAILORS…if any one is interested in helping with this project, please add me as your friend and let me know. A Navy Mom can never have enough help…but always needs something to keep themselves busy!! God bless our men and women serving our country! ‘All give some…’
I am so excited about the deal the company is willing to work out with us…they are going to offer 4 of 3x5.5 for 10.00 What a great deal….They need half down to start making them…so anyone interested in making donations will be so greatly appreciated! There are geared for either the Sailor or the person left home while they are gone to be sure you can write down all the things that are happening while they are gone.
What a wonderful way to be able to save and share all this information with one another….there are also books available for any ‘Military’ families…I can get those for 25.00 in which part of that money would be able to help purchase two Sailor books - and you would get the larger one for yourself. With this you can keep a record of all that happens while your sailor is gone. This is the larger of the two books…they are just the greatest books…
Again…thank you to everyone. I am hoping to be able to have these started and done before they leave for tour! (about 5000 books) As more info for these books come in I will keep you up dated.
Sincerely - Brit’s Mom
Kim
the Journal shown is the larger version...the size the Sailors will get are smaller, but very nice!
