Hi there
My son had his weekly meeting with the recruiter and he opened his Navy federal account, so he will be good to go on his direct deposit. He is a very to himself kind of kid and I'm trying to come up with things to talk to him about before he leaves. I am working on getting the Power Of attorney set up as well as the Medical POA. Do you have any suggestion on good topics to talk over with him before he leaves. I think he's starting to get nervous, but would never tell me.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I was just thinking this morning that this is the "one month to go" for us as well. I went over the Things to do list with my son as well. I am fortunate that he wants to talk about the process. For us it will be moving him from his apartment- storing his things at our house. He is still working this month so he has that. I need to check his POA but he has the credit union set up. Getting a bit nervous on my part but trying to hold it together.
Hang in there.
Thanks, yes getting nervous too. It has been a long road with him since he graduated high school in June. He has just been trying to figure out what he wants to do. Our relationship is not the best when it comes to talking, but I try to listen and hope for the best for him.
Hi Spomed here is a site also. welcome to BCM and Congrats to your Son.
