Okay, so I have been addicted to reading these posts. Argh...like I have nothing more to do. My house is a mess and I called in sick today. I should be cleaning. I am so freaking excited to see my son. Having him gone these past weeks has been really hard. I am ordering the ribbons today! I cannot wait to get them. I have received 3 letters in all from my son. The last was last thursday and it was 5 pages long and we got a call on Sun 10/16. A long one. He's good and we are so damned proud. He's wanted this a long time. As I am sure all of your sons have. I miss him so much I can't seem to clean out his room. The boxes are there, but not put away. He's gone through his clothes so I could send some off to donate, but I got them mixed up by accident and now I don't know what's what...lol. I have been wearing a bunch of his t shirts to bed. I must have smelled his clothes he mailed home (all bunched up) about 10 times. Gross, huh? I too have gained an I made the mistake of tellling my son and now dammit, he does expect those 5 pds gone. Why oh why did i tell him? I know his workout ethics. Silly me. I have been running on the treadmill to help, but the darn food is just so good when you are sad. That's enough. Have a good day ladies! Hope to meet many of you. Is anyone going to that meet and greet at the Ramada? Is there another or 4/823 anywhere else? Sounds like Ramada is going to be packed. I am from California btw... Oh, and I am still freaked about security. I don't like not being able to say his name or talk about him more :( Oh well.
Yes, she's precious and it's hard to see, but that's her kill next to her. LOL. Rabbits don't have a chance. Can we say where we are staying? Hotel I mean? My husband and daughter are coming for the ceremony as well. Oh shoot, reminds me to call the school....my head is so filled w/the trip, I can't think straight.
So...is that a dead squirrel next to your dog?
Proudmomofasailor and Kayliefirefly--we have been sharing more details through the PMs. If interested, just do a friend request. We all are very security conscious and even in our PMs we haven't shared our last names or the name of our sons. I think once we all meet up, it will all be easier! I also heard that the Ramada gets very busy, so we may have to plan how to find each other. I actually did clean out my son's room, but left one dirty tee shirt because it smelled like him--so I'm crazy too!

tsmom--my son's birthday is on the 27th and thanks for the well wishes! And a little wine and chocolate to celebrate won't hurt either. Of course my son will not be able to have any alcohol.
PM's? I need to find the glossary for these acronmyn's/abbreviations
PMs--private emails. See the inbox up in the top right corner--that's it. I'm still trying to figure out all of these acronyms too. My son always teases me because I can't keep them straight.
Wait, when is that meet and greet? Friday? WOn't we be with our sons? We fly in Thursday, but won't be at our hotel till about 7ish. If the flight goes good, I'd love to get together Thursday. Maybe at our hotel?
Meet & Greet is Thursday night at the Ramada. I think it starts at 6pm--anyone remember the details better than me?
Hey Kayliefly, I will inbox you as soon as you except my request and let you know what I know about meet and greet and all.
Yes, we do sit it the same section, but with so many family members, it could get hard to spot or know how to recognize each other. Perhaps I'll carry some cheese with me...
LOL

I'm at my desk for lunch today, so I can post on the site without guilt.
So, i guess we'll know one another if we are all wearing the ribbons? I am excited to meet you moms!
