We are back from JAX and now have a AWO3!  Nice graduation, wonderful visit and oh the stories from AirCrewMom's Son.  The trio is now down to a duo until sometime in the future.  They sure didn't want Dune to leave and wanted him to at least stay until after the 25th... their two  year anniv.  Dune is now off to Whidbey Isl. and his new squadron.  So far away but he is getting excited about his new place and things to see and do.  How is everything going with you and yours?

If anyone in this group lives within driving distance to New Port Richey FL (surrounding areas include Holiday, St Petersburg, Clearwater etc I will be there on vacation and I am going to have a get-together for all of my navy Mom friends who would like to join us on Wednesday afternoon/evening. I will have goodies/food and we can all sit around (or in if you prefer) the pool and just have a fun time getting to know each other and talking about our recruits and Sailors. If anyone is in that area and would like to join us please send me an email and let me know. My hubby will be away on a fishing trip and we were gonna do it Monday because he wants to be there but that is our 1st wedding anniversary <3 So, I would love to have you join me and others and you will get to meet my Sailor as well :-) The date is Wednesday June 27th. If you would like to meet but that afternoon or evening isn't good for you let me know and we will set up a another time while I am there :-) I am so excited to meet some of my navy Mom friends!!! My email is uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com

My sailor is now graduated (May 18, 2012)from AirCrew, he is now Petty Office and an E4..so proud of him and his mates who graduated with him. He had a wondeful tour of the hanger and even got into the P3 to see what my airmen will be doing. I am blessed to know how well he is moving along.

I am hoping everyone is doing fine too. I am not here a lot.

This note from my sailor came the other day: "I have an update for you, I was frocked today. The Commanding Officer and Command Master Chief of my ship pinned on my E-4 insignia so I am officially a 3rd class petty officer instead of ICFN. I am addressed as IC3 which is a lot easier to say every time I have to answer the phone (lol). I will send you a pic of what the insignia looks like. It is will be displayed on all of my uniforms after I have them all updated when we get back to land. Any way it's hard to believe how long I’ve been in, the time has really flown by." There is some info about his ship posted on my website. (((hugs)))

So how are the PIR's from 1/29/10 doing?  Mine is schooling in Jacksonville for a while  yet and has been on the P3 a few times.  Is loving flying and is working hard.  How's it going with yours?

Oh he does tell a good story... always has everyone cracking up.  So glad your folks liked having them there too.

Comment by AirCrewMom (SailorMOM)Div 349 on November 28, 2011 at 6:01pm

He had us craking up with all his wondeful stories. My parents loved having him and Jesse over and said he is welcome to come over anytime....
