Hi! I'm new to this website and I was wondering if anyone else had someone in Ship 12 Div 353? I got a call from my boyfriend Saturday which was a great surprise! He also said he was able to write a letter, but I have not received it yet.

Hi SeansMelody, My son is in Ship 12 Div 353. I also talked to him Saturday. I got the letter yesterday with the address so I am sure you will get yours soon.
Hi Justinsmom! Have you received any letters since the one with the address? I've been looking everyday and haven't seen one yet. Hoping to get one soon!
it normally takes about a week to get letters. maybe shorter if u live close to great lakes. i missed my call from my fiance :( im in a school in pensacola and can't always answer the phone. but i got to talk to him tonight cuz i had info he needed, you should be getting a letter soon! hopefully i am to!
I'm hoping to get one sooon :) @Nalley'sWife2B, were you at bootcamp recently too then? My boyfriend's mom and I are trying to plan airline tickets, but not sure how long to stay there. I am pretty sure he is not going to be in GL for A-school b/c when he first signed up, they said he would have A-school elsewhere. Does this mean he is a Grad-and-Go? How long did you get to see your family before leaving for A-school?
She is not on here much so I will reply for her lol. I am her mom. There are grad and goes to several different locations even some who are staying in great lakes. Most are not grad and go. When you think about how many are there total the number of grad and go sailors is low. She said her fiancee sent a letter and said he wasn't a grad and go but he didn't say if others in his div were or not. She was a grad and go. We only got to see her for 7 hours on Friday after PIR. But I would still plan on being there the whole weekend. If he is grad and go you may get to meet him at the airport on Saturday morning. If he is not grad and go you will be glad you planned for the whole weekend. :)
Thank you! We decided to drive there now, so that way we can see him however long we can and then just drive back. I can't wait for PIR!! :)
I got my call yesterday, it's so great to hear my son's voice!
I didn't get a call :( nor did my boyfriend's mom. Hopefully I'll get a letter today! How did all the SR's sound?? Is the division doing well?
Yay! That's so great! I'm very glad to hear everyone is doing well :) I'm glad they have settled into routines. Hopefully it will make the time go by faster :) Don't worry I've called my boyfriend's voicemail to hear his voice a couple times already! Sounds like we are all in a good division! Thank goodness!
Hey PollyAnna, just read your Sept 29th comment about the cell phone, I actually did text Justin's phone saying I miss you so much! He also is a section leader, says he is the youngest leader in there DIV. Says he is learning alot and made some good friends. He was bored last time I talked to him though probaly like you said just settling into routines.
I know how you feel, I've been bawling alot this week!
Thats great! What do the flags mean? How many can they get?
