DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

I am the Mom of the Month for our March adoption of the USS Fort McHenry which is currently on deployment in the Arabian Gulf.  As you may have seen in news recently, these sailors have been extremely busy on this deployment.

The ship has a lot of people that work out so anything like Proteins, slim jims, beef jerky, workout magazines, snacks, popcorn, puzzle books, sport stuff, candy, and anything else will be great.  There are 275 males and 75 females.  The theme will be Easter so we will include Easter candy and items even though the packages may arrive later than Easter.

Packages will be mailed the week of March 23.  The mailing address is located under MAS We Ship Love.

Please make sure you mark the package as being donated as part of Molly’s Adopt a Sailor.  The sailors also love personal notes of encouragement and thanks.

Thanks so much for spreading the word and for any donations.

God Bless and protect our Troops,

Tamme Suggs

Didn't think about using Subscribe and Save on amazon like that, Kim.

So, btw, we desperately need you all to sign up for smile.amazon.com and designate Molly's Adopt a Sailor as your charity of choice.  And also iGive.com

Thanks so much, Kim.  I will try to find out what flavor but I am sure they will appreciate any flavor.  I will also let people here know about that great website.  Hope you are doing well.  Can't believe it has been five and a half years since Boot Camp.  Hope everyone is doing well.  Thanks again for all you do.

Thanks Tamme!

Good morning.  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend.  I am so excited, the Blue Star Moms are receiving their Girl Scout cookies so they are going to include the USS Fort McHenry in their mailing this month.

I should have stated Blue Star Moms in Charleston, South Carolina are sending shipments of Girl Scout cookies.  Please check with your local Blue Star Moms as well.  Thanks!

REMINDER for your weekend - this month's adoption will be mailed next week.  Please let me know how you are doing with donations and if you have any questions.  Thanks so much.

I shipped the protein powder directly to the ship from smile.amazon. I sent chocolate peanut butter! It's supposed to taste like Reese's! Yummy!

Until I know how many pillowcases I will be shipping I can't commit on how many boxes of snacks I will have but I will let you know.

My plan is to send one box of snacks along with a few pillowcases.

Just a reminder that the March adoption donations will be mailed this week.  Please let me know if you have any questions and thanks so much for your participation.

One box

Just dropped my two boxes off a little while ago so they are on their way. :)

My box will go out this weekend.....just too much going on to get it out earlier.
