Hello ladies! There has been some chatter about our Meet & Greet. The Ramada puts it on regardless if we choose to attend or not, from what I understand. There have also been many mixed reviews about the quality of it lately. Please let us know what you think, what you have heard, any suggestions, etc. We want to be able to have a great time with each other!! Let's start talking...we shouldn't wait til the last minute to decide.

I will help all I can from my end. All I know is what I have read from here on this site--both good and bad. The pamphlet we got in the form letter said that the Homewood Suites-Lincolnshire also has a complimentary reception. Does anyone know about that place?
I dont know but im going to look at my pamphlet again. Where is everyone reading the good and bad? I'd like to look and then maybe post some of the info other mom's are saying.
Jana, I'm staying at the Homewood Suites-Lincolnshire, when i reserved the room they did not say anything about the reception. But i will check into it and let you know
I am excited about the M&G, I will help with anything that is needed.
I didn't get any pamphlets, just the form letter. I honestly don't remember where I read the stuff about the Ramada, I think it was on another PIR group. I just remember the comments about it not being in a very good area and not a place you would want to bring children. I did make a reservation there (and at Navy Lodge) hoping to hear some more comments about either place. We won't have young kids with us so if the rooms are clean, I can live with the not so hot area.
we are staying at the Navy Lodge! It would be great to see you guys there, also! I am going to be baking and making some things to take with us, plus cook in the kitchen there... any cookies or anything particular that your son likes? I am always happy to make more and share!
Interested in the meet and greet....if I can help with it, please let me know! I made reservations at the Ramada in hopes of being close to the meet and greet. =0)
Well I'm thinking we should just go ahead at the Ramada and hope for the best. After all, as some have said...we will have fun when we all meet, no matter where it is, and we are there to support our Sailor's. If that's ok with all of you, I will go ahead and make the Event notice tonite. Let me know! Then we can discuss if there is anything special we want to do for it.
we are staying at the ramada also. I didnt know it was where the meet & greet was. so that is a added bonus. it just seemed like it was a good place to stay
the only bad thing I heard is that is in the bar & grill so it kind of dark. also it is open to the public. i dont know sounds alright to me. does anyone know when it is? is it the night before graduation?
yes its on thursday nite. well, i think most of us are getting ribbons from Lala as well, so we will all be able to recognize each other when we are there. If you haven't friended her and ordered ur ribbons here is her page: http://www.navyformoms.com/profile/Lala You can scroll down and see what she says about the ribbons...ours will be navy with gold or silver letters (ur choice) and they are $5 each.
The Ramada works for me. We will be there Thursday afternoon, I can't wait to meet everyone!
