I am so sorry. Koko.. from what I have read is that they move to ship 5 and they give them 10 chances to pass. Im not sure of the rest. If you have fb there is a group ((Navy Mom & PIR friends)) with others who can answer. Please take good care of yourself and your daughter. I will be praying for you both. :(

Thank you so much...i think this is harder for me than it is for her.

Its to a different ship and called FIT... Ive been trying to find the answer for you. I have read in a couple of places that she might still have time and to not cancel your plans yet. Maybe cancel at the last minute? I honestly dont know what I am talking about but my heart hurts for you. We have to stay positive and remember anything can happen. Sometimes we dont know the reason why it has happened but its part of a greater plan. big big hugs to you.

FIT is on Ship 4. Ship 5 is SEPS and the THU.

Kokonutmom, there is info in Battle Stations-21 (BST) for you. Join fit program. She will not have PIR unless she was able to pass the PFA yesterday and has BST tonight, in which case she would sit in the balcony and not be on the floor for PIR since that would be dangerous for her after being up all night. She has 10 chances to pass the PFA while in FIT. Once she passes the PFA, she will be on a waiting list for BST and after passing  BST, she will then go to the THU and then go straight to "A" School or training when it can be arranged and will not have a PIR. Once in the fleet no one will care if she had PIR or not, just what kind of Sailor she is. The address to write her is in Battle Stations-21 (BST).
