OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Let's hope he doesn't, and you get to spend sometime with him ;) Good luck!!!
thank you MsMaria!!!
My boyfriend left on that day as well. He is the same ship09 div015 as your son. I am so sad. he called me last week when they got to call home and I missed both of his calls because my phone was on vibrate but it was right in front of me and then the third time I picked up his call but we only got to talk for ONE MIN because he thought I was busy so he waited to call again last minute :((
ohh... next time put your phone to the loudest as possible LOL tha's what i did and when i got a call from him i was half awake because i always sleep at 4am exactly 6am in Chicago... That was my morning call it was 1pm last friday and i was so happy. silly me. Well write as much as you can to him and always make sure you have your phone with you. If it possible put it in your bra... Lol, whenever i go out i have my phone in my bra... :) im so silly...

My son leaves too.  His name is Aaron.  I am all confused on everything and the time is approaching fast.  He is going with his recruiter to the high school today.  I wish I could go to MEPS tomorrow with him.   What field is your son enlisting for?

The same and regretting that his childhood is over. I will miss him so much. But I am proud of him and sure that he will do well.
thanks, I saw that after I posted.
