My Son leaves for Boot Camp on November 7th.   I am beginning to become very nervous.    Are there any groups already started for Mom's with children starting Boot Camp that day?  We live in Northern California..how do we determine when Graduation may be?  He will be going to Pensacola, Fl. to Aviation Training after Graduation.

Thanks!!!!!!

He must be going into HM.  That happend this spring.  Not all Recruiters stay on top of everything and his Recruiter may not have realized you would care where his A School was.  Some are still passing on all kinds of outdated info, but then some Recruiters are awesome.

There are lots of HM groups.  Later on you will want to look at them.

Is he going to Hospital Corpsman school? My son was told that he was going to be in chicago for his Corpsman training but I guess it was moved to San Antonio Texas.

We just got word that my son got reclassed with the job that he really really wanted! He called me and asked me if I wanted the good news or the bad news...I said the good and that's when he told me he got his job!!! then I asked what the bad was and he said that he was leaving on Nov. 9th...THREE WEEKS AWAY! We thought he would be leaving in January or February...so right away we started the planning. His favorite holiday is Thanksgiving...so our family has decided to do Thanksgiving on Nov. 5th. I am really sad about him leaving but oh so proud of him!

Were having a christmas/thanksgiving/going away party, son leaves
Nov 9
Not sure, my son leaves same day! Goes to San Antonio,TX for HM
Training. Missing him already!

My son also ships to BC on Nov 7th, He will be leaving from South Carolina.  They said we would get a package a couple weeks in and it would tell us when the graduation is.  I am so very nervous myself.  We are gonna be just fine...

My son is going to Pensacola, Fl. for A School after PIR.  He will be in school for 2 years.

Kim

My son left for boot Camp on Nov 7th as well.

Also mine.

He will be heading to Pensacola too.

Has anyone heard from their kids yet? All I got was the sailor in a box last week.....Nothing since then.

Nothing so far either so hopefully soon

I just got the form letter today, he did scribble some notes on it for me at least. His Grad date is 1/13, and somehow the big dummy got selected for the 900 Div. lol.
