Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Im so tryin to get thru this.. im so proud of my son very very proud.. but that doesnt change the fact i miss him.. im new to this site.. i would like to know how to find oit what division he is in.. he called me at 1:45am this morning n all he said was i will be gettin another call in aprox. 3 weeks.how do i find out anything ive been left in the dark n i was told it wouldnt be like this.

Call his recruiter, they can give you his address after he is in the system (takes 3-4 days) my son arrived at Great Lakes on Wednesday his recruiter said he could have his address for me by Monday. Which is great because I already have his 1st round of letters ready!
I also revived my sons "I'm ok phone call at 1:45am. It was short and bittersweet.

Me too! I'm
New here, it is a bit of a comfort to know Ty other moms hearts are so bursting with pride but at the same time lost without their babies. He's Been my baby boy since day 1 on this earth and no matter how much I prepped him for the trials and tribulations of bootcamp, my heart was not prepared for him to leave.
Im def bursting with pride but heart broken at the same time .. i told him 19 or not he is always my precious baby boy

I most def didnt prepare my heart for this. I was focusing on him. N then it all hit at once
