Thank you so much for the information. I'm definitly going to check it all out tonight. Do you know if there is a good site for dads and siblings?

Hello! My son arrived to Great Lakes on March 5th. Waiting for the box but still haven't gotten it.

From what I've seen it will likely be the middle of this upcoming week. Someone else near me, her son went out last Thursday 2/28 and she got her box a week later and the form letter the next day.

Hi my son too left on March 6th. I am trying to determine how to know what division he is in. I guess I'll just have to wait for the form letter to arrive. It seems like such a delay in being able to send our kids mail, but its probably all planned that way. Maybe our boys are in the same division. Best wishes and hope to chat. Holly
Unfortunately we do have to wait until we get their form letter. I'm hoping to he the box the middle if this week and his letter a few days later. It's annoying but if we don't put the right address there will likely be a delay in them getting the letters.

So how are you Moms doing so far? I am doing better than I imagined I would be but I think that is because my son signed last July, and I have had since then to prepare myself. Just can't wait to get some letters from him. I joked to my daughter and husband that I wish I had the crystal ball from the Wizard of Oz to peek in on him and see what he is doing. :)

Not bad today. I'm so with you on wanting to peek in on him. My husband jokes that if I could I would stay in a hotel near there, dress in cammies and keep an eye on him every day. Don't I wish!

P-3, is it always 5 days?

Thank you! I figured the earliest I would get teh form letter is Thur/Friday. I'm trying my best to be realistic.

I love that! I read your cammie scheme to my husband just now and we laughed! :)  I hope we get the box tomorrow. I read on the website that as soon as we get the letter with the PIR date, we should book the hotel in the area because they fill up really fast!

I was going to do the same thing. We are planning on driving. Plane tix are too expensive for 4 of us.

My boyfriend of 6 years left on the 6th. I've been writing letters for him so now I'm just waiting to send them. It's been rough the past couple days but I'm just looking forward to getting a letter from him! I love reading through here and seeing tentative days for receiving their boxs and form letters! It's really helped me out!
