I got a call today from my daughters boyfriend. She called him and told him she is being sent home in three weeks. I guess she is in ad seg . Shes been having panic attacks! I am freaked out. I hope she is okay. I want to know if I can go get her and if I can talk to her considering the circumstances, I haven't spoken or herd from her since Sept 25 when she left for Boot Camp.

Sorry to hear she;s having trouble.  The Navy will not release her to you, they have to go by their format.  They'll send her home by bus, but only she will know when, and they probably haven't gotten through the paperwork yet in order to give her separation/travel dates.

You can't call her, she has to call you. If she only gets one phone call at a time, either she couldn't get in touch with you, or it was easier for her to tell her boyfriend.  She may have strong feelings about letting you down, and might be reluctant to talk it out over a short phone call.  You can still write to her, so do that.  She will need support through this part too.

She will be alright, just be prepared to help her find a different path for her future.

Im sorry to hear this. Good luck to you all. Sending positive thoughts ur way.

I got a message from her just now, this is so sad she's really upset. I have leukemia and I think she was just too worried about me to focus on her own training. It sounds like she is being treated poorly which isn't right. I just want her home. I need to see about getting her home sooner, her grandma just passed away last week, she needs to come home .
