Thank you, Carol. Rock'n and Roll'n!
I'm surprised not hearing back from the Peninsula Daily News which is located 57 miles from here (in Forks). The lady that talked to me last time about asking for submissions for a newsletter thanking our troops told me to submit anything military related and they would run it. We will see.

There is one more Seattle paper I'm going to submit this to and see what happens....You ALL will be the first to know when it does show up....PLEASE keep your fingers crossed!!!!

Carol
Received reply for submission of Press Release to People Magazine.
Oh that would be great if they published it!!!
Zilch reply from Navy Times, not surprising. If I hear anything will post it here for sure.....WHOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I'm still feeling the roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Carol.. let me know what you need.. am here in Seattle as well as other moms... spoke with Molly as she headed out of town on Friday... she was headed down I5 and talking a mile a minute!! Good thing she wasn't driving!!
Dana,
I'm having a "concrete in the brain" moment here.......I'm getting ready to send the press release to media outlets here in Louisville, but I've got a question...If I put my own name and contact information on the top of the release, won't the line reading, "Local woman and her Navy moms from across the country are finalists to win $50,000" make it sound like I am the one who is leading MAS?......I dearly love Molly, but there is no way I want anyone to think I'm her! Also, there could also be confusion over the "local" word, since Molly is actually in Oregon......Has anyone else asked this question?........ After re-reading the instructions above, do you mean that we can change the first sentance to show where Molly is from?...I feel really stupid, but, I just want to do the right thing!!
Sheila,
You are correct, it will say local woman and her Navy moms. That is how Molly wants it to be. Molly was totally involved with the press release. We are all Molly's Adopt a Sailor moms. The creator and awesome person spearheading this group happens to be a wonderful women call Molly. (Ya man!) Should anyone contact you for an interview rather than a press release, let's make sure they get straignt to Molly.

So, yes put your name and your city and state. Great question!

Thanks, Dana
Are you sure they cant do the interview ?? Seriously arent we all *molly*
I think WE won
I may a little nieve here but shoot why didnt Shiela the kentucky mom win 50k at pepsi for the troops as mollys adopt a sailor >>>??? along with her navy moms across the country
YOU DID THIS EVERYONE not me
I am in the team with you so WE DID THIS
but Molly herself pshhhh I didnt vote this much, I certainly did not get the texas school to vote, I didnt go to florida and get the firefighters to vote.
so why the heck not take a bow in your state and hometown ------ locals love locals who do good things
Absolutely. I should have phrased it to let you know since there's stuff coming from all over the country. But speaking for myself (especially being new) I would want to have your guidance to share this amazing story locally or to America. (Strike that, I rather have you on camera than me...LOL)
